According to the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) we are obliged to inform you about the purpose for which our practice collects, stores or passes on data. 2. PURPOSE OF THE DATA PROCESSING
Data processing is carried out on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfil the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.
For this purpose we process your personal data, in particular your health data. This includes history, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists with whom you are under treatment may also provide us with data (e.g. in doctor's letters).
The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot take place.

3. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR DATA
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is legally permitted or if you have given your consent.
Recipients of your personal data may be, above all, other physicians / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance, medical associations and private medical clearinghouses.
The transmission is mainly for the purpose of billing for services rendered to you, for clarification of medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data may be transferred to other authorized recipients.

4. STORAGE OF YOUR DATA
We only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the treatment.
Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after completion of the treatment. Other regulations may provide for longer retention periods, for example 30 years in the case of X-ray records as per Section 28, paragraph 3 of the X-ray Regulation.

5. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to be informed about your personal data stored with us. You may also request that incorrect data be corrected.
In addition, you have the right, under certain conditions, to request the deletion of data, to limit data processing, and to request data transfer.
The processing of your data is based on legal regulations. Only in exceptional cases we require your consent. In these cases you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.

4) In the event of revocation of your consent to the storage of your personal data, these will be deleted if the storage is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the pursued purpose or if the storage of data is unlawful.

Your personal data will be stored using all technical and organisational means available to prevent access by third parties. However, since we cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating by e-mail, we recommend that you send confidential information by post.
